Yes, I have done many "short notice" ceremonies. In Florida, only ONE signature is required on the Marriage License, the officiant's signature. I have performed many "just the two of us" ceremonies.

If you are using an archway on a Sarasota County beach or park for your wedding or renewal of vows, then you need to apply for "a beach wedding permit".  Why?  Because you are conducting personal business on property that is owned or managed by the Parks and Recreation Department.
