One of the most entertaining movies from "the sixties" came on TV last night . . Bye Bye Birdie.  I will never forget seeing that opening number with Ann-Margaret singing her heart out at the Radio City Music Hall theater in New York City when the movie first came out.  It was my first trip to "the big Apple." If I remember correctly I sat at the counter at Schrafts that day eating an ice cream sundae.  That was a big day in my life!

Looking for love?  Looking for your knight in shining armor?  Looking for your soul mate?

According to Real Simple Magazine the following internet dating websites have been successful . .

Plentyoffish.com  -  This FREE site is easy to use and boasts 120,000 marriages a year.

Match.com - Costs about $30 per month.  Has about 3 million users per month.

True.com - Costs about $50 per month.  Members are asked to submit a background check (and that's a good thing!).

Eharmony.com - Your mate(s) are matched for you based on a detailed questionnaire.  Lots of good "dating" advice.

And once you find "the love of your life" . . contact Simple Seaside Ceremonies for your dream wedding (nondenominational wedding ceremonies).  Serving the Sarasota and Charlotte County (Florida) areas.

The beaches of Sarasota stretch over 35 miles along the west coast of Florida on the beautiful Gulf of Mexico, and these beaches have the most awesome, colorful sunsets over the water.

Thinking of getting married?  Create a beautiful wedding day memory, have your first kiss as Husband and Wife as you stand on one of the sparkling white sand beaches of Sarasota County!

Just heard about a wedding that has a "lady of the evening" or streetwalker theme.  Both the Bride and Groom think it's hilarious; and they are hoping that all of their invited guests will come just to see what it is all about.  Would you attend this wedding?

Question from a Groom:  Do I have to invite my boss, who I very rarely see in person, but talk to on a once-a-week basis to my wedding?

Answer:  Do you socialize with this person after working hours?  Do you have a personal relationship with this person?  If you do not have a social or personal relationship with this person then the answer is No, you do not have to invite him or her to your wedding.

The tradition of wearing something blue comes from the brides of ancient Israel, who wore that color to symbolize fidelity and love, and from early Christian brides who wore it to symbolize the purity of the Virgin Mary.  To honor either heritage, sew small blue bows to the hem of your gown or on your veil or on your gloves or on the front of your shoes.
