Yes, I have done many "short notice" ceremonies. In Florida, only ONE signature is required on the Marriage License, the officiant's signature. I have performed many "just the two of us" ceremonies.

Sometimes a veil doesn't work for the ceremony site.  On more than one occasion I have seen a veil cover the Bride's face on a breezy day or the veil just blow off as a result  of a strong wind.  So, if a veil may not work for your ceremony site, consider an eye-catching hair comb.
