Question from an engaged couple . .
We are going on a cruise with about twenty friends and relatives. We plan to get married on the deck by the ship's captain before we depart. Do we need to send our friends and relatives a wedding invitation to our ceremony, they all know our plans?
Response . .
A wedding is a social event. Yes, all of your friends and relatives should be mailed an invitation to the ceremony and the reception at least four weeks in advance of your wedding date.
