I once worked with a Bride who stated on her wedding invitations that her wedding ceremony was taking place at 6PM. She told her Father it was taking place at 5PM because he was always late. She told me, the minister, that the ceremony was taking place at 630PM. Confusing? You bet!
Here's the rule . . you should state the time you plan to "walk down the aisle" as the ceremony time on your wedding invitation. Your guests will know to come fifteen to thirty minutes early. Ever person invited or participating in your wedding should be told the same starting time.
