Did you just get engaged?

Your bridal gown should NOT be the first thing that you shop for right after you are engaged.

You and your fiance' should discuss in length the following topics
before you shop for your wedding day attire.

(a)  What type of wedding and/or reception do you want?
        Ultraformal?  Formal?  Semiformal?  or Casual/Informal?

(b)  What season of the year (or month) do you want to get married in?

(c)  Where do you want your ceremony and/or reception to take place?
Within 25 miles of your or his home?  The city where you met or where you live now?  Or far,
        far away?

(d)  Do you want a small, medium, large or an extravaganza wedding?

(e)  Who is paying for the wedding?  What is the budget?

There is a BIG difference between having a small, intimate wedding in your hometown and a destination wedding that involves passports, luggage and several bouquets.
