Before you buy "the perfect dress" for your beach casual wedding, think about where you are going and what are you doing AFTER the ceremony. Are you going to have several photographs taken along the shoreline? Are you going to walk hand and hand along the beach? And are you going to a nice restaurant after the photographs are taken? And, if so, maybe you should consider the length of your gown before you say, "Yes to the dress."
This past December a beautiful gown with a train was ruined because of beach sand. Why? Because beach sand clings when it's wet. The Bride, the Groom and about twenty of their guests were going to "a nice restaurant" after the ceremony and family photographs, and much to the Bride's dismay, a lot of the wet beach sand went to the restaurant on the train and hemline of her gown.
