According to "The Knot" about 40 percent of engaged couples are looking for wedding ceremony and/or recpetin venues that better reflects their personality and/or lifestyle.
And here's an example: Just recently I was working with a couple who truly enjoyed visiting the state and national parks, camping, and trail riding on horseback. The chose a secluded camping site next to a stream for their wedding ceremony followed by a lake setting outdoor reception. The couple honeymooned in the Grand Canyon area.
