What is a Kransekake?
It is a traditional Norwegian cake that is often served at weddings or holiday celebrations. it consists of almonds, icing sugar and egg whites. it is created by stacking the cake rings of different sizes from the larges to the smallest in a pyramid shape. The top is adorned with trinkets depending on the occasion, for example, a bride figure for a wedding.
