Yes, I have done many "short notice" ceremonies. In Florida, only ONE signature is required on the Marriage License, the officiant's signature. I have performed many "just the two of us" ceremonies.

If you just got engaged then you may want to announce your pending marriage to your friends and family members by having an engagement party.
Did you know that the formal announcement of your engagement should be done within four to six weeks of your proposal. So, if you got engaged on December 24 or 25 then your parents should be planning your party on or before the middle of February.
