Yes, I have done many "short notice" ceremonies. In Florida, only ONE signature is required on the Marriage License, the officiant's signature. I have performed many "just the two of us" ceremonies.

If you are working with a friend or relative on your wedding or event who is a vendor or service provider, and he or she does not offer you a discount or price reduction . . DO NOT ASK FOR ONE or ASSUME YOU WILL GET ONE. Let your friend or relative make the offer, if they can, do not create an awkward situation.
