Question from a Bride and Groom . .

Why would we need to get wedding insurance?

Response . .

If someone in your immediate family has a medical issue or a recurring medical problem that may cause the wedding to be cancelled or moved or postponed.

If you are serving alcoholic beverages, you will need additional liability coverage.

The weather, especially, if your ceremony and/or reception will take place in the great outdoors.  Think thunder, lighting, a blizzard or a hurricane.

A missing vendor or a no-show vendor.

A problem that can not be resolved quickly.  It's hard to replace a wedding cake that is dropped by mistake as it is being moved from the hotel travel cart to the display table.

Formal attire and nice jewelry.  Yes, a wedding ring or a tuxedo can be lost, stolen or damaged.

Whether you have a small, medium or big wedding, protecting your investment is a very good idea, and that can be accomplished by purchasing wedding insurance.

For help and information look into the Traveler's Insurance Wedding Protector Plan OR Fireman's
Fund / WedSure.
