Don't be pressured into signing a vendor's contract unless you have already discussed the details of the contract and you are satisfied with the terms of that contract. It is also a good idea for a third party to review the contract before it is signed by both parties.
Don't be pressured into signing a vendor's contract just because that vendor stated that other couples have contacted him/her about the same date and time of your event. Maybe that's true, and may it isn't.
