This is an example of a "rented and decorated" archway. This rental unit came from The Garden of Eden Florist in Venice, FL. When you rent this archway, you will be asked your theme colors or what colors you want to use or what flowers you want to use for the floral decor. This Bride used her theme colors of "aqua and purple". When you rent an archway from a florist or rental agency, you will be charged for "set up" plus the transportation to and from the ceremony location.
I do not recommend using a wire archway on the beach for a ceremony. Why? Because the wind will pick it up. Two men had to hold this wire archway down during a wedding ceremony because the strong breeze picked it up and it moved down the beach twice before the ceremony. And if you do use a wire archway, it needs to be staked or weighted down as a precautionary measure.
If you want a romantic sunset ceremony, find out what time sunset is scheduled at your ceremony location and then schedule your ceremony about 30 minutes before sunset. There is about 20 minutes between sunset and darkness.
If you want big rocks and water the in the background of your wedding photos, then you should consider Caspersen Beach Park in Venice, FL. Caspersen Beach Park is also known as the "sharks tooth capital of the world".
The top of this Sand Ceremony unity container was "hot glued" after the wedding ceremony so the colored sand would not spill out. The unity container was being transported from Florida to Georgia. Good idea!
