Question from a Bride and Groom: What is a Groom's cake? Do we have to have a Groom's cake? When is it served?
Response: A Groom's cake can be served at the wedding or at the rehearsal dinner/party or not at all. It is your choice. The Groom's cake usually reflects his favorite hobby or his job or his favorite sports team and/or his favorite flavor of cake and icing. This particular Groom wanted a chocolate cake with chocolate icing. This cake was served at the wedding reception, it was on the cake table next to the three-tiered wedding cake.
