Yes, I have done many "short notice" ceremonies. In Florida, only ONE signature is required on the Marriage License, the officiant's signature. I have performed many "just the two of us" ceremonies.

Looking for a place to have a beach ceremony and a reception close by? Maxine Barritt Park in Venice, FL is within walking distance of Brohard Beach plus this park provides a large covered pavilion that can be rented for a party or reception. And here's the best part, if you have guests that have difficulty walking, there is a cement walkway from the parking lot to the pavilion.
