Yes, I have done many "short notice" ceremonies. In Florida, only ONE signature is required on the Marriage License, the officiant's signature. I have performed many "just the two of us" ceremonies.

Question from a Bride and Groom:  Do we have to have a Maid of Honor and a Best Man?  A Flower Girl, a Ring Bearer?

Response:  No, you do not.  A traditional wedding includes honor attendants but there is no rule or regulation that states you have to include honor attendants .  Many states require one or two witnesses but those witnesses do NOT have to be honor attendants, those witnesses can be guests.
