Yes, I have done many "short notice" ceremonies. In Florida, only ONE signature is required on the Marriage License, the officiant's signature. I have performed many "just the two of us" ceremonies.

Question from a Bride and Groom:  Is it OK to have a barbecue after a formal wedding in a church?

Response:  I would not have a barbecue inside the church building unless you are paying rent to the church and the barbecue has been approved by the church hierarchy, BUT it is OK to have the barbecue at someone's home or a park or a rental property.

Here's the perfect menu:  BBQ Chicken, Baked or Sweet Potato, Broccoli Salad, Tossed Green Salad, Peach Cobbler, Apple Pie, Smores and Wedding Cupcakes.
