Yes, I have done many "short notice" ceremonies. In Florida, only ONE signature is required on the Marriage License, the officiant's signature. I have performed many "just the two of us" ceremonies.

Question from a Bride and Groom:  Does a beach wedding have any rules?

Response:  You must have a valid Marriage License to get married.  After that, that really.  An informal or casual or beach wedding can be as simple or as grand as you wish.  I have witnessed Brides in gowns with long trains and veils and I have witnessed Groom in tuxedos AND I have witnessed Brides and Grooms in bikinis, blue jeans and bare feet.
