Question from a Bride and Groom . .

When do we serve the Groom's Cake?

Response . .

The Groom's cake is "the fun cake."  The Groom's cake usually reflects his hobby or interest or some type of affiliation with a group, like his college alma mater.  It can also be something as silly as a cartoon character.  The Groom's cake can be served as a desert choice at the rehearsal dinner or party.  It can also be served as the alternative choice at the wedding reception or given to the guests as they depart from the reception in decorative boxes.  The Groom's cake should be just the opposite in looks, taste and decoration as the wedding cake being served.

I've seen everything from sports cars to Greek letters to Superman as the Groom's cake.
