Yes, I have done many "short notice" ceremonies. In Florida, only ONE signature is required on the Marriage License, the officiant's signature. I have performed many "just the two of us" ceremonies.

Thinking about getting married this weekend? Monday, January 23 is Chinese New Year which means you already have a theme, the color is red, and it can be organized very quickly. Celebrate your marriage by going to an oriental restaurant that has white tablecloths and a Chinese New Year parade. Let the celebration of your marriage and the new year be a sign of good things to come. And keep in mind there will ALWAYS be fireworks on your anniversary.
