Dos and don'ts . . . Don't surprise your family members and/or friends by asking them to do non-guest duties like taking photos, parking cars or playing the piano.
I once had a Bride who handed a camera to her male cousin when he got to her wedding in a public park. Apparently, she did not discuss him taking wedding photos at the wedding before her wedding day, and he was very surprised and taken back. His response was, "I didn't come here to be your photographer." And then he left.
