Question .  . What is the difference between a commitment ceremony and a wedding ceremony?

Response  . . A Marriage License.  A declaration or pronouncement of marriage cannot be made in a commitment ceremony.  Neither can the words "Bride or Groom" be used.  A commitment ceremony is NOT a legal ceremony.  Yes, you can exchange rings or state vows to each other during the ceremony.
