According to "Business Insider" the three most stressful things about planning a wedding are
(1) Managing the guest list
(2) Finding the perfect location or venue
(3) Getting all the planning and work done by your wedding day
I have observed that the longer a couple takes to "plan and organize" their wedding the greater the stress. And that's because you debate and discuss hiring the photographer, the caterer, the florist, the band, the ceremony location over and over again until one or both of you are weary and irritable.
When a couple decides to get married in thirty days or less, their result is the same as the couple who planned, discussed and worked for eighteen months.
I worked with a couple who did all of their wedding planning on a Wednesday morning for a Saturday afternoon ceremony and reception. As soon as they found a vendor who said, "Yes" they moved on to the next vendor. Yes, they hired a cake baker, a caterer, a florist and a musician between 9AM and Noon on a Wednesday. They also rented an archway and chairs before Noon that day.
The ceremony and reception took place at their home. They invited about fifty guests to their wedding.
