Some people want wedding day photographs, some people are satisfied with a video BUT no matter what you choose make sure your select someone who is competent to take your video or photographs.
Ask for examples, ask for references before you sign on the dotted line. I suggest talking or interviewing three different professionals so you can make a comparison. I also strongly advise you to avoid paying for the complete package in advance of your wedding day . . a deposit of 50% when you sign the contract should be satisfactory, balance due upon completion of project.
