As the "buyers side" of the business transaction you, the Bride and Groom, should get "dressed up" when you meet the caterer or the photographer or any other vendor that you want to meet "face to face" prior to your signing a contract.  A professional service provider will respond with great respect of the high standards that you are setting for your wedding.  If you want to be taken seriously then you, the Bride and Groom, must dress the part.

DO NOT ASK FOR ONE or ASSUME YOU WILL GET ONE.  Let your friend or relative make the offer, if they can, do not create an awkward situation.
