If your having an event in the fall, you can't go wrong with a seasonal beverage to welcome your guests.

Cranberry Margaritas

Dip rims of 8 ounce glasses in 1 tablespoon of cranberry juice; dip rims in sugar to coat.  Fill glasses with ice.  Process 1 1/2 cups of fresh (or frozen) cranberries, 3/4 cup tequila, 3/4 cups cranberry juice, 3/4 cups fresh lime juice, 1/2 cup orange liqueur (such as Triple Sec), and 1/3 cups sugar in blender for 30 seconds.

Pour mixture through a fine wire mesh strainer into a large pitcher.

Pour into the prepared glasses.

Garnish with whole cranberries and lime peel strips, if desired.

Makes 6 servings.
