R is for registry and reality . . a bridal shower gift registry or a wedding gift registry. Your registry should reflect your present lifestyle plus what you realistically anticipate for the future. If you are in the process of purchasing a new home together, then registering for hand and garden tools, lighting fixtures, and landscaping items is appropriate and acceptable.
