Question from a Bride and Groom . .
Got any ideas for a 50"s themed rehearsal dinner which we hope to have outside?
Response . .
(a) Buy some old vinyl records and hang them from the trees or hanging baskets or from the ceiling.
(b) Create invitations using a poodle skirt or T-shirt background.
(c) Make Elvis Presley hot dogs (crunchy peanut butter, sliced bananas, chopped peanuts and chocolate
sauce on top of quality hot dogs).
(d) Play 50's music.
(e) Encourage your guests to come dressed up for the theme.
(f) Get a cake or cupcakes made with hot rods on them.
(g) See if you can find old "coka cola glasses" at flea markets or consignemnt shops or yard sales and fill
them with nostaglia candy.
(h) Serve vanilla, chocolate, and strawberry milkshakes plus rootbeer floats.
