Question from a Bride . .
We are having a destination wedding. What flowers are always kept "on hand" at a florist shop just in case I do not get the opportunity to order my bouquet in advance.

Most florists get deliveries from their wholesalers two or three times a week so if there is a particular flower that you want you still may be able to get it. Here's a list of the flowers that a florist would usually keep "in stock" . .
Roses . . amaryllis . . lilies . . orchids . . anthurium . . calla lilies . . gardenias . . camellias . . gerbera . . daffodils . . tulips . . iris . . sunflowers . . peony . . chrysanthemums (in several shapes, colors, and sizes) and carnations.
