A Native American Style Wedding ceremony is one that takes place outdoors, with Father Sky as the roof of the most sacred cathedral, and Mother Earth at your feet to hold you, and the trees and plants to surround and embrace you.  The circle will be saged by the Minister.

A wedding basket is exchanged between the Bride and the Groom during the ceremony.  A wedding basket is lined with cedar and covered with a red cloth.  The wedding basket contains whatever is symbolically important to the couple.  The items in the baskets can range from ears of corn to a branch of cedar.

When the Bride  hands the Groom her basket she will say, "I provide these things to my Husband and home.  They are a symbol that I will care for you and love you always."

When the Groom hands the Bride his basket he will say, "I provide these things to my Wife.  They are a symbol that I will provide love to you and protect our family always."
