Looking for a outdoor ceremony site that has a "built in" Plan B in case it rains?
Venice Beach, Venice FL is an expansive beach and there are TWO designated wedding ceremony sites. There is a pavilion at Venice Beach that includes a picnic table and snack bar area and part of that area can be used as a Plan B ceremony site if it starts raining. And yes, I have had to use that covered pavilion as a Plan B on two occasions.

Faux flowers are NOT permitted on a Sarasota County beach. You are welcome to use petals BUT they have to be REAL PETALS. REAL PETALS disintegrate, fabric flowers do NOT disintegrate. When a bird or turtle eats an artificial or fabric or faux flower, choking or death may occur.

Queen Victoria is believed to have started the tradition of including ivy in the bridal bouquet. Afterwards, the sprigs can be carefully rooted and planted as a living reminder of your bouquet. Green thumbs in Victoria's day would nurture the ivy, with plans to include the cuttings from it into their daughter's wedding bouquets.
