Question from a Bride and Groom . .
When should we send out our "Save The Date" postcards?
Response . .
The sooner, the better . . at least six months in advance of your wedding date. Many people have to put in for there vacation days or time off at the beginning of the year for that year so do them and yourself a favor by sending the notices out as early as possible. And don't forget to put "Invitation to Follow" on the card so your guests will know that this is NOT their wedding invitation.
You should also have some type of Newsletter prepared with normal weather conditions, transportation, lodging choices and the activities planned during the wedding weekend so the Newsletter can be mailed out right after the wedding invitations.
